Overview
Located in the very heart of downtown Asheville, the Asheville Hotel Apartments are among the brightest examples of local historic preservation. Originally built in 1912 and opened as the Asheville Hotel, the building has been renovated and restored for today's demand for downtown living space. Apartments are intentionally small, designed as either studio, one-bath, or one-bedroom, one-bath units. Apartments offer the original hardwood floors and exposed brick interior walls. Kitchens include range and refrigerator. Some units have dishwashers. Some units feature central air-conditioning, a porch, or a fireplace (decorative only). Special care was taken in the hallways to retain the original orange peel finish from the 1912 construction. Modern elevator service. There is a coin-operated laundry on the first floor, next to the mail center, and coded access to the building. One of the most popular features of the building is the rooftop deck, where tenants enjoy sunshine, fresh air, and one of the best views in downtown Asheville. Convenient parking is practically at your back door with the adjacent lot for an additional monthly fee. Central gas heat, gas water heaters. Tenant pays gas and electric. This is a no-smoking building. THERE ARE NO UNITS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
